Ashraf M. Kamel  





Ashraf Moufid Kamel is Technology Director for EMW Inc, Middle East, North Africa and South West Asia. He was appointed to this position in March 2003.  Mr. Kamel brings more than 13 years of experience in solutions architecture and design, logistics and product management, working with renowned multinational corporations. Over the years, he has been involved in several prestigious and high profile networking implementations including the USA Air force Base in UAE and Cyprus, the Burj Al Arab Communication System and Call Centre in UAE, Royal Jet Wireless VOIP Network in UAE, King Abdul Aziz University in KSA, and Suez Canal Network in Egypt to name a few.

At EMW, Mr. Kamel is responsible for selling and delivering turnkey conversed communication solutions, including strategizing and preparing detailed project plans, managing a team of engineers and technical consultants and acting
as a primary interface between the customer, vendor, and EMW personnel involved in the project.

Prior to this role, Mr. Kamel worked for Avaya Communication as a Tier III Product Specialist for Switching, Networking & Multi-Media Messaging for the EMEA region where he was accredited as an Avaya Configuration and Design tool (Omni-GES) Champion. He contributed to the growth and success of the company by spearheading several major projects. He was actively involved in product development and testing, technical support, pre-sales activities for a wide variety of communications solutions, imparting product training and technology transfers and delivering channel readiness seminars and presentations.

Previous positions include Sales Technical Support Manager at Jeraisy Communication and Computer Service in Saudi Arabia and Senior Sales Technical Engineer at Orascom- AT&T in Egypt.

Mr. Kamel has certifications from Avaya and Netbotz and is a certified Unix and Linux Systems Administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Communications & Electronic Engineering degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
